Open Farm Thursdays - Electroacoustic Agriculture |
|
A cycle of monthly musical gatherings dedicated to electroacoustic music, during the whole year on every first Thursday of the month at 9:30 p.m., to present the principal currents of this music, which revolutionized the musical creation of the last 60 years. Works of reference, which created history of this genre will be presented side by side with current production with the focus on Portuguese composers, always with their presence to establish a space of an enriching dialogue between the creators and the public.

Sound Walk 2012 no Café Sonore |

On March 31, 2013 a selection of pieces from the Sound Walk 2012 - Sound Garden installation will be presented on the radio programme Café Sonore of the Netherlands. The installation was premiered last year in October at the Goethe-Institut Garden in Lisbon. During 10 days its visitors could immerse in various soundscapes under the "sound-text composition" theme.
Every year during the Música Viva Festival the Sould Walk, collective and original installation, results from the Miso Music Portugal's international invitation to composers of electroacoustic music. |

On December 20, 2013 the second selection of pieces from the Sound Walk - Sound Garden installation will be presented on the Electrain de nuit radio programme (France Musique). The installation was premiered last year in October at the Goethe-Institut Garden in Lisbon. During 10 days its visitors could immerse in various soundscapes under the "sound-text composition" theme.
The first selection from the 25 pieces composing the Sound Walk - Sound Garden 2012 is available in streaming on the France Musique website: Electrain de nuit.

No passado dia 4 de Dezembro de 2012, durante o Festival de Música Croata em Viena, foi interpretada a obra "Marcha Comemorativa" de Luis de Freitas Branco pelo Zagreb Trio. Este concerto foi também gravado pela estação de televisão nacional da Croácia.
Esta obra foi enviada pela Miso Music Portugal, no âmbito do projecto MINSTREL.

 On December 7th and 8th at 9h30 p.m. the Miso Music Portugal invites its audiences to the Cascais Cultural Centre for another Concert Season with special concerts dedicated to new music.
On this occasion the Miso Music Portugal will also announce the winning works of the 13th International Electroacoustic Composition Competition Música Viva, whose jury this year is composed of Gilles Gobeil, António Ferreira and Miguel Azguime. Apart from that the concert will be the opportunity to release the new CD under the Miso Records Label, within the series of Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble Soloists – “Portuguese Music for Violin” with Suzanna Lidegran’s interpretations of music by Cândido Lima, João Madureira, Miguel Azguime, Ângela Lopes and Emmanuel Nunes
