From September 2015 to February 2016, the Argentinian composer Francisco Uberto is in residency at the Lab for Electroacoustic Creation by Miso Music Portugal. He will be developing a new work for ensemble and live electronics, using the conditions offered by the O'culto da Ajuda and Miso Studio. The residency is supported by Ibermúsicas.
In July Igor C. Silva will be in residency at the Lab for Electroacoustic Creation (LEC) by Miso Music Portugal where he will be working on a new work for instruments, electronics and live video. The composer will be using the conditions offered by O'culto da Ajuda, working directly with the musicians and the technological means of the Miso Studio.
In May 2015 the composer Bruno Gabirro is in residency at the Lab for Electroacoustic Creation - LEC by Miso Music Portugal, where he is working on his work, which will be presented at the Música Viva 2015 Festival in the second half of this month at O'culto da Ajuda.
In April, in the framework of the EASTN, of which Miso Music Portugal makes part, Claude Cadoz is in residency at the Lab for Electroacoustic Creation (LEC) at O'culto da Ajuda in Lisbon. Using the potential offered by the Miso Music Portugal Loudspeaker Orchestra this French composer is working on the spatialization of his music developed with the GENESIS system.
During March 2015, Daniel Gomes, young Portuguese composer specialized in sonic arts, is realizing a residency at Miso Music Portugal's Lab for Electroacoustic Creation (LEC), where he is working on his new project Invergent Flex, for alloy.
The composer Luís Antunes Pena was in residency in LEC, between June 2 and 5, in the context of the new work he his composing for the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble.
This work is a commission of the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble with the kind support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
Piotr Roemer in Residency in LEC - Minstrel
The young Polish composer, theoretician, violinist and writer, Piotr Roemer, is Composer-in-Residence at the Lab for Electroacoustic Creation of the Miso Music Portugal, between January 21 and February 19. He is working on a new electroacoustic work, using the technical conditions of the Miso Studio. Piotr Roemer's residency at the LEC is co-financed by the European project MINSTREL and co-organized by the Polish Music Information Centre.
