Music Theatre
by the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble
Within the tradition of music works for children, such as Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev or The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns, Miso Music Portugal developed, in partnership with the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble, a project for creation, production and circulation of new works conceived especially for children and young audiences.
This is yet another project in progress, in 2014 extended with three new commissions to young composers (Ângela da Ponte, Daniel Martinho and Sofia Sousa Rocha), based on the poetry of Luís de Camões, Fernando Pessoa and José Saramago, respectively.
