At this 16th edition of the Música Viva International Electroacoustic Composition Competition the jury constituted by Ludger Brümmer, João Pedro Oliveira and Miguel Azguime decided to award the work Counterattack by the British composer Adrian Moore.
Cristina Dignart wins the Música Viva 2014 Competition
The jury of the 15th International Competition of Electroacoustic Composition Música Viva 2014, constituted by Elżbieta Sikora, Andre Bartetzki and Miguel Azguime, has awarded the work Cerberus by Cristina Dignart. Born in Cuiabá, this Brazilian composer made her Master's Degree in Composition and New Technologies at the Goiás University. The music of this young composer has already been presented in various Brazilian cities, as well as in Portugal, that is, in the context of the SoundWalk of the Música Viva 2010 Festival at the Belém Arts Centre in Lisbon.
Miso Music Portugal is pleased to announce the selection of the electroacoustic miniatures, which make part of the sound installation, Sound Walk 2014 - Revolution and Metamorphosis, Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Portuguese Revolution.
The Lisbon Architecture Triennale, Miso Music Portugal and the Música Viva Festival 2013 convoked composers to send electroacoustic miniatures to be part of a sound installation of the Triennale. This year's edition under the theme Close, Closer.
European Competititon for Live Electronic Music Projects 2013
The 2013 edition of the European Competititon for Live Electronic Music Projects organized by ECPNM and co-produced by Gaudeamus Muziekweek, by EULEC of Luneburgh and Miso Music Portugal awwarded with the 1st Prize the work "Do Desenho e do Som #3" by Filipe Lopes (Portugal).
From October 1 to 10, 2012, the 5th edition of the Sound Walk / Sound Garden, collective and original sound installation, gave the visitors of the Goethe-Institut Garden an oppotunity to immerse in 25 sounscapes, that year joined by the "sound-text composition" theme.
European Competititon for Live Electronic Music Projects 2012
In total 24 proposals were received from composers coming from 14 different European countries. The jury, consisting of Miguel Azguime, Helmut Erdmann and Henk Heuvelmans (and for the category Double bass / electric bass also John Eckhardt) has studied all proposals and has selected the following projects for performance during the ISCM World New Music Days 2012 in Belgium:

The final concert of the ECPNM European Competition for Live Electronic Music Projects 2011 took place on November 19th at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. The school's Sinfonieorchester conducted by René Gulikers performed 2 works selected in the competition: "A viagem e o rio" by José Henrique Padovani and "En Plein Ear" by Giorgio Klauer.
As result of a international call to composers of all ages and nationalities, Sound Walk collective and original sound installation, gave the visitors of the Belém Arts Centre an oppotunity to immerse in 25 sounscapes.
