Miso Ensemble premieres electroacoustics and video piece in Toulouse
No Sítio do Tempo - Invenção sobre Lisboa (In the Place of Time – Invention upon Lisbon) is a sound (and visual) abstraction with three time based binomial perspectives about Lisbon as a subject matter: the past and the myth, the present and the crossroads and the future and an utopia. From these three concepts and the affiliated sound archetypes, the work arises in circles, surrounding several authors’ poetry, like an emotional score, where the electronics meddle, sometimes emphasizing the relationship, others disturbing it.
Luís de Camões, Antero de Quental, Miguel Torga, Álvaro de Campos and Alberto Caeiro, Mário Dionísio, Alexandre O'Neill, Manuel Alegre, Natália Correia, Carlos de Oliveira, Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, Ana Hatherly, Miguel Azguime texts, together with a percussionist-reciter and a flutist-video-artist, combine themselves buiding a singular scenic and sound fiction.
Composition and percussion-voice : Miguel Azguime
Live Vídeo and electronics: Paula Azguime
Camara operation : Perseu Mandillo
